Classic Nile Adventure
9 Days / 8 Nights

A first time visitor to Egypt who wants a classic experience would do well to book a Nile cruise. While the airlines shuttle
tourists to the southern region of Egypt, historically the Nile cruise is really the only way to visit the temples and
tombs located along this stretch of the river. It is a popular means of visiting upper as well as
lower Egypt and has many advantages to other means of travel.

Day 1 Arrive Cairo Welcome to Egypt! ..I will meet you to ensure a smooth path through immigration and customs. You have the rest of the day to explore at your leisure.

Day 2 Cairo/Desert Tour. Full-day outing to Sakkara and Memphis, followed by a visit to the most famous wonderland in the whole world - the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx.
Day 3 Aswan Arrive in Aswan, meet and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Full-day excursion around the city visiting the Temple of Philae, the Aswan High Dam, and the Unfinished Obelisk.

Day 4 Aswan/Nile Cruise (Optional tour to Abu Simbel) Join an felucca cruise around Kitchener and Elephantine Islands.
Day 5 Kom Ombo/Edfu/Nile Cruise Visit the dual temple of Sobek and Haroeris in Kom Ombo. After lunch, visit one of the most well-preserved temples in all of Egypt in Edfu - dedicated to Horus, the Falcon God.

Day 6 Nile Cruise/Luxor Arrive in Luxor and check-in at hotel. Today we visit the East Bank of Luxor: - Luxor & Karnak Temples.
Day 7 Luxor Visit the West Bank of Luxor: - Valley of the Kings - Valley of the Queens - Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon .

Day 8 Arrive Cairo and hotel. Then the Egyptian Museum to see the fabulous treasures of the Pharaohs . Later we drive to the Citadel and explore many attractions in the old Coptic area, the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue (the Jewish Temple).
Day 9 Depart Cairo Farewell to Egypt today. Our tour ends after breakfast. Transfer to Cairo International Airport.
