For example, many of my older clients desire the comfort of air travel, rather than the sleeper train. Others on a tight budget, may want to forego Abu Simbel even though it is one of Egypt's most wonderful treasures. Abu Simbel is a day's trip by motor car or a 4 hour round trip flight.

Day 1 Arrive Cairo Welcome to Egypt! ..I will meet you to ensure a smooth path through immigration and customs. You have the rest of the day to explore at your leisure.

Day 2 Cairo/Desert Tour. Full-day outing to Sakkara and Memphis, followed by a visit to the most famous wonderland in the whole world - the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx.
Day 3 Aswan Arrive in Aswan, meet and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Full-day excursion around the city visiting the Temple of Philae, the Aswan High Dam, and the Unfinished Obelisk.

Day 4 Aswan/Nile Cruise (Optional tour to Abu Simbel) Join an felucca cruise around Kitchener and Elephantine Islands.
Day 5 Kom Ombo/Edfu/Nile Cruise Visit the dual temple of Sobek and Haroeris in Kom Ombo. After lunch, visit one of the most well-preserved temples in all of Egypt in Edfu - dedicated to Horus, the Falcon God.

Day 6 Nile Cruise/Luxor Arrive in Luxor and check-in at hotel. Today we visit the East Bank of Luxor: - Luxor & Karnak Temples.
Day 7 Luxor Visit the West Bank of Luxor: - Valley of the Kings - Valley of the Queens - Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon .

Day 8 Arrive Cairo and hotel. Then the Egyptian Museum to see the fabulous treasures of the Pharaohs . Later we drive to the Citadel and explore many attractions in the old Coptic area, the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue (the Jewish Temple).
Day 9 Depart Cairo Farewell to Egypt today. Our tour ends after breakfast. Transfer to Cairo International Airport.

My tour includes all of the following:

1. Transfers from and to the airport.
2. Fully-guided tours (as per the itinerary) in air conditioned, private cars.
3. Yours truly - Ahmed Yehia - an Egyptologist tour guide speaking fluent English.
4. Four nights on a 5-star Nile Cruise ship with all meals included.
5. First-class sleeping trains from Cairo/Aswan and Luxor/Cairo or flights on Egypt Air.
6. Two nights in a Cairo hotel (4 nights if flights are used). Rooms have a private bath, air-conditioning, TV and include breakfast.
7. All transfer and pick-up services.
8. All service charges, entrance fees and taxes.
9. Travel to and from Egypt, items of personal nature (drinks, phone calls, laundry…etc.) are not included.
